Snow Removal Service Terms & Agreement Overview

Understand the plans before you sign. This public overview is not a signed service contract.

Important: This page is a plain-language summary for potential customers and not a binding contract. Your actual legal agreement will identify both parties, service address, selected services and add-ons, full prices, taxes, service dates, exclusions, cancellation rights and refund terms. For door-to-door sales, the company must use the regulator-accepted direct-sales contract and the prescribed cancellation notice, where required.

1. Included services

Full Property: Standard single- or double-car garage residential driveway, front adjoining City sidewalk, usual front walkway and entrance steps. Driveway Only and Sidewalk + Front Walk plans include only the areas specifically named in your accepted quote. Corner lots, extended/steep driveways, excess steps and additional frontage are separately assessed and priced.

2. Service period and visits

Monthly plans: Up to 7 scheduled qualifying clearing visits per calendar month. Full-season plan: Nov 1, 2026–Mar 31, 2027, up to 7 qualifying visits per calendar month. Unused visits do not carry into another month. Additional visits outside the included allowance require advance pricing approval or an accepted unlimited upgrade.

3. Snowfall trigger and sidewalk law

Driveways are ordinarily dispatched for a qualifying snowfall accumulation of at least 3 cm. The 3 cm driveway trigger does not remove the obligation to clear adjoining public sidewalks where snow or ice accumulates: Saskatoon requires residential City sidewalks to be cleared within 48 hours after snow or ice is deposited. Any extra clearing needed to comply with law must be properly arranged; a seven-visit package is not a legal exemption.

4. Response window

Standard target is within 48 hours after a qualifying snow event in normal conditions for contracted areas. Priority upgrade targets under 24 hours when expressly approved on a route. City sidewalk bylaw deadlines are measured independently from when snow/ice was deposited. Exceptional storms, closures or unsafe working conditions may affect scheduling; the company will communicate delays.

5. Unlimited qualifying visits

Proposed upgrade: +$68 per month on a monthly plan, or +$340 for the full winter season on the seasonal plan. Availability must be confirmed before a customer signs. Unlimited means no numeric cap on clearing visits for contract-defined qualifying snowfall events during the purchased coverage period; it does not mean a customer may request arbitrary extra visits on demand. The exact trigger, covered areas, storm passes and exceptions must be in the accepted agreement.

6. Extras and conditions

Priority service, ice melt/salting, corner-lot frontage, long or oversized driveways, extra windrow clearing and snow hauling are optional, based on a written quote. Customers must provide safe access and identify hidden obstacles; crews will use agreed snow-storage areas. Ice melt may be less effective in severe cold and does not guarantee ice-free surfaces.

7. Pricing and discounts

Monthly early bird: Full Property $289 (regular $359), Driveway $199 (regular $249), Sidewalk + Front Walk $89 (regular $119). Full-property seasonal: $1,349 early bird (regular $1,795). Early-bird offers require route availability and a written quote. Prices are valid only during the advertised offer period. 10% senior discount applies to eligible regular-priced plans only, not with early-bird or neighbourhood promotions. Applicable taxes are additional.

8. Quote acceptance and payment

Completing the free quote form is only an enquiry and does not secure an address or reserve a route. After assessment, a personalized quote and legally compliant service contract are supplied for review and signature. Only approved plans, routes, prices and payment arrangements become part of a confirmed booking. Payment options may include debit, credit and e-transfer; subscription billing will be available only if specifically implemented and authorized.

9. Cancellation, changes and rights

Statutory consumer cancellation and refund rights always apply. A client-specific agreement must include any required cancellation rights notice and any relevant cancellation, refund and proration policy. Door-to-door direct-sale agreements in Saskatchewan have additional mandatory disclosure, licensing and cancellation requirements. This public page is not a substitute for the regulator-approved contract where required.

10. Contact and service concerns

Contact us promptly about missed clearing areas, delays, hazards or property damage. Call 306-262-4848 or email czsnowsaskatoon@gmail.com. Your signed service agreement includes the business contact information and applicable terms.

These draft public terms require final business and legal approval before use with paying customers. Read Saskatoon's official sidewalk clearing rules and Saskatchewan direct-sales guidance.
